Where the news comes from

Every minute we check 28 sources: news sites (CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, The Block, Bitcoin Magazine, CryptoSlate, The Defiant, DL News, Unchained, Protos, Bitcoin.com News, BeInCrypto, Cryptopolitan, Bankless, The Daily Hodl, U.Today, The Cryptonomist) and fast public Telegram news channels (Watcher.Guru, Wu Blockchain, Tree News, BWEnews, Lookonchain, ZachXBT, ICO Drops, unfolded, ICO Analytics, infinityhedge, Binance). Stories usually appear here within a few minutes of being published.

How stories are handled

• Grouping: when several outlets report the same event, it is shown once, with the other outlets listed under it.
• Summaries, coins and sentiment: an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) writes a two-to-three sentence summary from the publisher's own headline and excerpt, tags the coins involved and marks the story bullish, bearish or neutral. Summaries can contain mistakes, so check the original article before acting on anything.
• Filtering: promotional posts, price-prediction listicles, guides and off-topic stories are hidden from the feed.
• Ranking: "Latest" is newest first. "Trending" ranks by readers' up and down votes, and older stories fall down over time.
• Today in 60 seconds: a five-point brief written 4 times a day (00:00, 06:00, 12:00, 18:00 UTC) from the biggest stories at that moment.
• Articles: longer write-ups of major stories and a daily market recap, written by AI from several outlets' reporting, each listing its sources.

Prices and the Fear & Greed index

Prices come from exchange market data (Binance, with Kraken and CoinGecko as backups), converted to US dollars and refreshed every 30 seconds. The Fear & Greed index is our own 0–100 reading of market mood, built from Bitcoin momentum and volatility, funding rates, Bitcoin dominance, the tone of the news here and the daily reader poll.
