Tether and Tron Quietly Scrapped T3 Crime Unit Two Months Before $6.3 Billion Binance Hack
Bloomberg reported that the T3 Financial Crime Unit, an anti-crime alliance of Tron, Tether and TRM Labs that later expanded to Binance, quietly shut down in late August. That was about two months before the record $6.3 billion Binance hack. The alliance reportedly suffered from slow response times and weak coordination, and none of the members announced the closure at the time.
