Synthetix claws back SNX as Binance hacker locks $3.5M in Newton contract by mistake
Synthetix recovered SNX stolen in the Binance hack, which Binance says cost about $6.3 billion, the largest exploit in crypto history. The attacker accidentally locked about 8 million Newton tokens in a dead contract. Tether and Circle have frozen roughly $1.77 billion USDT and $825 million USDC, and traders are watching how much of the haul is recovered.
